Our service provides you, your spouse, or your minor children with immediate access to a licensed Florida attorney via phone during emergencies like bodily injuries, car accidents, or interactions with law

enforcement (e.g., arrests or traffic stops).

How much does the service cost?

A monthly subscription is $6.99, an annual subscription is $44.99, family subsciption is $143.99 for four (4) users, paid by credit card. This covers access to emergency phone consultations for you and your covered family members during the time the Retainer is paid

What is the NFC keychain, and how does it work?

The keychain has an NFC chip that, when tapped on a compatible smartphone with NFC, displays a phone number or link to contact our firm for emergency legal help. You should test it monthly to ensure it works.

Will the NFC keychain work with my phone?

It works with most smartphones that have NFC capabilities, but compatibility depends on your phone’s model and settings. Check your phone’s NFC settings and test the keychain regularly.

How is my personal information protected?

We securely store your information in compliance with Florida and federal laws, including the Florida Information Protection Act and attorney-client confidentiality rules. We won’t share it without your consent, except as required by law or to your emergency contact in specific situations.

Will you follow up after an emergency call?

Yes, we’ll contact you within 24 hours to discuss next steps and offer further legal services if needed. You’re not obligated to hire us for additional help.

What if I have a dispute with the firm?

Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in Broward County, Florida, under the American Arbitration Association’s rules. We’ll try to mediate first if you notify us of the issue.

What if my credit card payment fails?

We’ll notify you if your payment fails, and your service may be suspended until we receive a successful payment. Keep your card information updated to avoid issues.

Who are the attorneys providing the service?

Our attorneys are licensed in Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar. Some work with us on an “of counsel” basis but are fully qualified to provide emergency advice.

What information do I need to provide when signing up?

You’ll provide your full name, address, email, phone number, and details for an emergency contact to help us assist you or your family during an emergency.

Does the service guarantee specific results?

No, we cannot guarantee outcomes from our emergency consultations, as results depend on the situation and other factors beyond our control.

Can I get a replacement keychain if mine breaks?

What types of emergencies are not covered?

Issues like property disputes, contract problems, or non-emergency legal questions are not covered. Only bodily injuries, car accidents, or law enforcement interactions qualify.

Can I opt out of the follow-up contact after an emergency?

The follow-up call is part of the service to ensure you get next steps, but you can decline further services during or after the call with no obligation.

How do I sign up for the service?

Complete the online registration on our website, provide your details and emergency contact information, and pay the fee by credit card. We’ll mail you the NFC keychain and directions on set up and use.

Will I be notified before my subscription renews?

Yes, we’ll notify you at least 30 days before your annual renewal date about the upcoming charge, giving you a chance to cancel if you choose.

Can I use the service for legal advice outside Florida?

No, our service is limited to Florida residents and incidents in Florida, as our attorneys are only licensed to practice in Florida.

Can I request a copy of my call recordings?

Yes, you own the recordings. Email [email protected] to request a copy, and we’ll send it within 30 days.

What happens if I move out of Florida?

You must be a Florida resident to use the service. If you move, contact us to cancel, as the service won’t apply outside Florida. The fee is nonrefundable.

Who pays for arbitration costs if there’s a dispute?

The prevailing party in arbitration can recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs from the other party, as decided by the arbitrator.

What if my emergency involves multiple covered individuals?

We’ll provide guidance for all covered individuals (you, your spouse, or minor children) involved in the same qualifying emergency during the initial consultation.

What happens if the keychain doesn’t work during an emergency?

While we strive to ensure the keychain functions, we’re not liable if it fails due to phone compatibility, environmental factors, or wear and tear. You can still call us directly using the provided number

Can my spouse or kids use the service independently?

Your spouse or minor children can use the service, but you must generally initiate the call unless they’re legally capable (e.g., emancipated) or an immediate family member present

during the emergency calls on their behalf. You must be present during the call as the firm’s Retainer Agreement only covers the signee or additional clients directly listed on the Retainer.

What if I need more legal help after the emergency call?

The service covers only the initial phone consultation. Any further legal help, like representation or document preparation, requires a separate agreement and additional fees.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Are my calls recorded?

Yes, all calls are recorded to document the advice given and support your legal needs. You own the recordings and can request them to be transferred or destroyed by contacting us in writing.

Who can subscribe to the service?

While we are looking to expand to California and New York, as of now the service is only for Florida residents. You must live in Florida to subscribe, as our attorneys are licensed to practice only in Florida, and our services comply with Florida law.

Can I share my keychain with family members?

No, the keychain is for your use only. Each family member needs their own Retainer Agreement and keychain to access the service, due to confidentiality and contract rules.

Can I update my emergency contact information?

Yes, you can update your information anytime by emailing [email protected].

What happens if I misuse the service?

Using the service for non-emergencies or non-covered individuals may lead to termination of your subscription without a refund, per the Retainer Agreement.

Can minors have their own subscription?

Minors under 18 cannot have an independent subscription without written permission from a parent or guardian, which must be in a separate agreement.

What if I’m taken into custody during an emergency?

We’ll use your provided information to contact your emergency contact and provide details of a local bondsman to help with your release, if applicable.

Are emergency calls available 24/7?

We aim to respond promptly, but availability depends on attorney schedules and call volume. We make every effort to be there when you need us.

How does arbitration work if I have a dispute?

Disputes are handled through binding arbitration in Broward County under AAA rules. You must notify us 30 days before filing, and we’ll try mediation first.

How quickly will an attorney respond to my emergency call?

We strive to answer promptly, but response times may vary based on call volume and attorney availability. We prioritize getting you help as soon as possible.

What should I do to maintain my NFC keychain?

Keep it away from extreme heat, moisture, magnets, or other NFC devices to prevent damage. Test it monthly by tapping it on your phone to confirm it works.

How do you verify my identity during an emergency call?

We may ask for your name and other details to confirm you’re a subscriber or a covered family member, ensuring we provide advice to the right person.

No, you only provide your details and an emergency contact. We’ll verify covered family members (spouse or minor children) during an emergency call if needed.

Can I pay for the service with a method other than credit card?

No, payments must be made by credit card or another provider through our website.

Can I test the service without an emergency?

Yes, you should test the service. You can test the keychain’s tap function to ensure it displays the contact link, and any test call should be limited to notifying the answering attorney that it is a test and immediately terminating the call so that you are not prohibiting another client from being able to reach the answering attorney during a real emergency.

Can I contact the firm for non-emergency legal questions?
